Istanbul, Bakirkoy/Kadikoy

Here you will find samples of the photographs I’ve taken in Istanbul as soon as I left the airport and at my hotel.

I took the shot after we left Ataturk Airport in Istanbul when we were headed to our booked hotel. The bright nightlights and the busy roads instantly caught my attention as they framed the beauty of the mosque and lined buildings besides it – so my first instinct was to take a photograph.
This image was taken towards 4pm when the sun had started to set. It’s the view from my hotel window in Istanbul, Kadikoy.
This I took also Istanbul, Kadikoy town in the beautiful morning weather It was around 11am when I was out for a walk around my hotel when I found this mosque. It looked so strong and rich as swarms of people entered and exitted to do their prayers
